Old Things Made New at Crestmont Park UMC

By Thelma Jones, Cross Connection Editor

Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” (Revelation 21:5)

Crestmont Park UMC held a dedication ceremony to celebrate new signage outside the church and new pews inside the sanctuary.  “We are excited about the improvements to God’s house,” said Rev. Curley Laster, senior pastor.  The new sign and the new pews were purchased with donations from the members of the church.

The congregation is also making preparations for its upcoming anniversary, celebrating 49 years of ministry and service.  “Our new sign is dedicated to the glory of God through this church, serving as a beacon of light in the Crestmont Park community,” say Laster.

Indeed, some things at Crestmont Park UMC have been made new – to the glory of God and through the ministry of His church.
